Historical Announcements

Attention all SWHS SAFARI PLAYERS Alumni and families!

Were you in Theater at SWHS?  When you hear lyrics from certain musicals, do you have flashbacks to your Thespian high school days?  Can you still find your way around a crowded room in the dark just like you did backstage?   Or do you have fond memories of watching your child perform on the SWHS stage?  Then we want to hear from you!  We are trying to put together a Thespian Alumni and families database so that we can keep in touch.  We hope to have some future Alumni events, and we don’t want to miss anyone.  Please send us your most current email and address or parents’ address (if you are in college) to amanda.maynard@springbranchisd.com even if you just graduated in 2016!  We can’t wait to catch up!

posted Oct 11, 2015, 4:50 PM by Terry Hibbert-Ismert

The Spring Woods Safari Players are well represented in this year's All-District Musical, both onstage and behind the scenes.  The show is about the Washington Heights area of New York, the "barrio," and is a snapshot of generations of immigrants, their dreams, and the importance of having a place to belong. This has been a monumental collaborative effort between Spring Woods, Northbrook, Memorial, Westchester and Stratford High Schools.  Please support our kids - performances are $15.00 at the Memorial High School Performing Arts Center this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - October 15, 16 and 17 at 7:30 with a 2:30 matinee on the 17th, as well.
